Please consider supporting our mission by:
- Working just a couple of hours per week, or more if you like.
- Providing monthly financial support.
- Prayers for volunteers, for our guests to the pantry and for our donors.
- Save your Wagner’s grocery receipts and bring them to the pantry.
Available Volunteer Positions:
Our Volunteers come from all walks of life. A passion for helping others is one of the things they
have in common. They contribute their Time, Treasure and Talent to St. Vincent de Paul; then it
hits them, they have truly made a difference, and the bonus is new friends.
Volunteer in our pantry. Two hours or more if you like, but if you have just one hour, we will find
something fulfilling.
- On-call Volunteer – Help as needed. Specify your days of availability.
- Substitute Truck Driver - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., valid license & able to drive box truck.
- Food Truck Loader –Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Parking Lot Attendant - Directing our guests in the parking lot in a friendly manner.
- “Boxers” – Filling orders from menu of choices for the guests’ supplementary food boxes.
You might also consider:
Volunteer Coordinator - Making weekly schedules in cooperation with Pantry Manager, see to the training and keeping records as needed.
Pantry Manager - Overseeing operation of the pantry three days per week and ordering food for the following week.
Secretary - includes answering phones and taking notes on needs of the caller, general office duties.
